Percorrendo il sentiero di Fondo d’Oglio giungeremo all’interno di un anti co cratere vulcanico estinto\, dove nel centro è cresciuto un Carpino nero \, considerato “fatato” per via delle numerose leggende che lo riguardano. Tra piante di mirto\, alberi di pino e numerose specie di ginestre giunge remo nella zona del Montagnone\, da dove ammireremo una vista da cartolina sul porto d’Ischia\, la terraferma e l’isola di Procida.
